NMISA is proud to announce that we received accreditation to the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 from the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) for our Essential Oils Testing Services.
The following tests are available from NMISA according to the international standards for testing of essential oils, on one complete certificate of analysis.

Calibration Service for the essential oils production value
The National Metrology Institute of South Africa forms part of the technical infrastructure support under the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic). We work together with the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS), the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) and the National Regulatory of Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) to enable the fair and safe trade of products and services in South Africa
and the region.
NMISA disseminates traceability to the National Measurement Standards, which are linked to the International System of Units (SI) through the calibration of measuring equipment. Traceability to SI, allows weights and measures in South Africa to be comparable to weights and measures in other parts of the world.
