2007 RF, TF & FO TAF Meeting
A joint Radio Frequency (RF), Time & Frequency (TF) and Fibre Optics (FO) Technology Advisory Forum (TAF) Meeting was held at NMISA on Wednesday, 18 July 2007. This meeting was attended by 16 people, representing 10 companies from the South African metrology community or industry.
During the meeting, staff from NMISA gave presentations on the current status of the national measurement standards in each of the fields. After each presentation, the attendees were requested to comment on the presentations. Attendees were specifically asked to identify the areas where NMISA must focus their attention. These included the possible improvement of uncertainties, extending current parameters, or research & development work into new parameters.
